Itwasdemonstratedthatseparationofopticalisomersofethyl3 a (2,2,2 a trifluoroacetoxy) butyratewasenthalpy-drivenprocessandtheinteractionbetweensurfaces0f a cyclodextrinandethyl3 a (2,2,2-trifluoroacetoxy) butyratemightmainlycontributetotheseparation.
